It appears not even beautiful models are safe from the rise of technology.
In their Fall collection debut, the Italian fashion house decided against the use of model Millenials and decided to get with the times and send drones down the catwalk instead.
I mean what’s more fashionable than robots carrying handbags?
Fashionista reports that audience members were asked to turn off Wi-Fi on their phones, as well as any personal hot spots. The show was also 45 minutes late to start, and now we know why.
As the curtains were drawn back to the runway seven or so drones flew down the runway, each carrying a leather and jewel-encrusted handbag from the company’s latest Fall Winter 2018/19 collection.
Once the drones flew back into the rafters the usual human models appeared showcasing the latest collection for the brand.
