First Ever Chicken Nugget Festival 

Good news for poultry fans, the first ever chicken nugget festival is coming to England.

We Love Food will host the festival. They are a UK-based blog set up by a community of dedicated food lovers it’s a celebration of everyone’s favourite chicken chunks.

Advertising ‘the best chicken nuggets in London’, the event promises the ‘biggest variety’ of nuggets in town along with drinks, a few gigs and more chicken in the form of wings. The festival will also feature a nugget eating competition – the centrepiece of any important occasion – that will see both a “Nugget King” and a “Nugget Queen” announced.

Who Will Be the Chicken Nugget Queen?

Currently, the event is expected to take place on 11 August in London and 22 September in Manchester.

The coveted tickets haven’t been released quite yet but you can pre-register online people are already finding it hard to contain their excitement with thousands of devotees committing to attending on Facebook.

“Actually the best event ever,” one person wrote.

“Can’t wait to crowned the chicken nugget queen,” another added.

More Food Festivals to Come

But We Love Food aren’t stopping there.

“In 2018, we are launching a series of food festivals in cities across the UK covering all manner of cuisines and dishes from around the world,“ they announced on their website.

So far, future plans include everything from a sushi festival to a burger festival and even cheese and wine event.
